    Fly Me to the Moon

I say many times on this website I don’t do things in a typical way as far as Mediumship goes. Most times when I practice with other people I sit through pages of descriptions about my relatives and only a portion of the descriptions make sense and then it’s followed by a message of “Don’t give up” or “They love you very much.” They all read this way. I sit and wait for just one thing that points for sure to my loved ones and they give me a whole list of maybes. I am still not very good at this and I understand that, but I always give at least one thing that I couldn’t possibly know. I think that is worth more than three pages of maybes. One out of every ten Mediums I work with will give me specific evidence and when they do, they usually aren’t the type of Medium to give me three pages of descriptions beforehand. The following is a practice reading I had with a woman who was so unenthused about my reading I couldn’t wait for it to be over for her sake and mine.

I had a reading in the afternoon with a woman who sounded French. I went first and got several things to which she said she didn’t understand. It was hard for me to even get these things because she kept sighing as I was trying to connect. So I said, let me try with a specific name. She gave me the name Max and I quickly got something about “something going over the side of the boat.” She continued to seem unimpressed and wasn’t sure what that meant. I then heard lyrics from Frank Sinatra’s version of “Fly Me to the Moon.” The lyrics were, “Fly me to the moon, let me play amongst the stars.” She said that the lyrics possibly meant something, but was still unenthused. After the reading, she told me the lyrics could possibly relate to her son who had passed when he was very young. He had a long illness and they spoke to him about being with the stars when he passed to comfort him and they also read a book along the same lines about how when he passed he would be “in the stars.” I couldn’t believe the way she treated me when I gave this information like she wasn’t sure it was relevant. To me that was “evidence” of her son. I believe she treated me this way because I didn’t give a description of her son. I didn’t say, “I see a little boy, he has brown hair, he’s very sweet, etc.”

Next, I heard “Chesapeake Bay” and she told me that the area near Chesapeake Bay was where she went on a trip with her son. She was still unenthused and I told her I didn’t even know where that bay was. She said it was in Maryland.

I heard the melody to Frank Sinatra’s song again and then the words “Jupiter and Mars.” She said she was unsure about that as well. I said, “Okay let me see if I can get why he sent it again.” I then got the feeling the year when the song came out was significant. She looked it up and saw that Frank Sinatra’s version of the song came out in 1964. She said, “I know nothing about 1964.” I told her I felt the numbers 6 and 4 were significant and she said, “Oh, my son was four when he passed and he would be 6 right now.” She was still unenthused, but all I could think about was how horrible it was that this woman lost her son when he was so young. I said “I have a couple more minutes, let me try one more time,” and I heard “Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens,” and then “I simply remember my favorite things and then I don’t feel so bad.” She said that doesn’t mean anything to me. I said, “I think it is your son’s message to you, what you should be doing,” because to me it didn’t feel like he was sad or having a hard time in the afterlife. She said, “Possibly.” And with that I ended the session. I was glad to be done. I don’t try to force any opinions on anyone, I just relay the messages.
